Description: Our client is currently seeking a RN- Cath Lab in Summit, NJ!

Job Title: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology)

Schedule: Four days a week, 7 AM – 5 PM, with an on-call requirement of 12 days a month (including one full weekend).

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $23.00/hour ($736.00 weekly)
• Housing Stipend: $1,001.00
• Meals & Incidentals: $560.00
• Total Gross Pay: $2,297.00 weekly
  
  

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with 3-5 years of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience. The role focuses on providing patient-centered care, thorough assessments, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the perioperative team.

What You'll Do

• Assessment Skills: Perform systematic and comprehensive assessments for patients across Pediatric to Geriatric stages, ensuring age-appropriate care.
• Clinical Skills: Demonstrate competency in clinical care, emergency procedures, and the use of equipment to support patient care delivery.
• Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate patient records, documenting the nursing process and educational efforts.
• Professionalism: Uphold policies and procedures while identifying areas for clinical and professional growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: Foster a positive, courteous environment, prioritizing the goals of patients and families while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Safety Compliance: Follow National Patient Safety Goals, ensure proper patient identification, and utilize safe transfer techniques.
• Unit-Specific Skills: Provide individualized care for surgical patients, ensuring thorough understanding of conditions, diagnoses, and procedures.
• Responsibility & Accountability: Adapt care to meet patient needs, collaborating with the perioperative team to prioritize effectively.
• Patient Education: Engage patients and families in preoperative and postoperative education to ensure understanding of procedures and instructions.
• Pre-Admission Testing (PAT): Facilitate timely testing and evaluate testing orders for surgical procedures based on patient age and health status.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Critical Care, with 3-5 years in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
• License & Certifications: RN License, BLS, ACLS (required).
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
