Position: Home Care RN

Location: Morristown, NJ (07960)

Pay Rate: $65-67/hr

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Days: 5x8 (Full-time)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care RN to join our team in Morristown, NJ. This role will involve providing in-home care to patients of all ages, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and working closely with patients and families to ensure high-quality care in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess home health and hospice patients in stable and emergent situations

Develop, document, and evaluate the Plan of Care (POC) to ensure continuity of care

Provide care using infection control measures to protect both staff and patients

Educate patients and families on care, medications, diet, and home safety

Supervise and provide clinical direction to HHA/STNA/LVN staff

Monitor pain levels and educate on appropriate pain management techniques

Provide on-call services and attend team meetings as needed

Ensure compliance with third-party payer requirements

Maintain up-to-date patient records

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of RN experience in a clinical care setting required
• 2+ years of home health experience required
• Knowledge of venipuncture, IV care, and other nursing skills for home care
• OASIS experience required
• Homecare Homebase Software experience required
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required
• CPR certification required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• CHPN certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
