Travel Nurse New

Overview:

As a Home Care RN, you will provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to clients of all ages in their homes. We are excited to invite applicants who are willing to travel to Morristown, NJ, from outside a 50-mile radius. Join our dedicated team and help deliver high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized Plans of Care (POC) to address each patient's unique requirements.
• Patient Education & Support: Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and safety practices, empowering them to take an active role in their own care.
• Clinical Oversight: Supervise home health aides and collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service throughout the designated areas.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to all documentation standards.
• Quality Assurance: Implement infection control measures and effectively manage patient pain to ensure optimal care delivery.

Required Skills:

• Strong assessment and communication skills to facilitate clear and effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in medication administration and wound care management.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Qualifications:

• A current RN license and CPR certification are required.
• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience; 2+ years in home health care preferred.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase and OASIS documentation is essential.

Education:

• An Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
